Introducing GoldenEye SimpleDrive AC LED Module to Simplify Solid State Lighting Design

American Bright has introduced an industry leading AC LED that reduces systems cost while providing industry leading output and light quality.

Chino, Ca. October 2, 2012 – American Bright Optoelectronics Corp. today announced the introduction of a new generation of AC LEDs capable of producing 80 lm/W  without the need for costly AC to DC conversion. The new series named GoldenEyeäimplements American Bright’s innovative SimpleDrive technology that eliminates the need for capacitors, resistors and chokes and allows users to connect the module directly to 120VAC line voltages.  The diminutive package, barely larger than a US Quarter, can be configured from 1.2W to 12W while maintaining a high efficacy of 80 (lm/W).  The retrofitting traditional light fixtures such as table lamps, chandeliers, wall sconces or ceiling fixtures has become as simple as changing a light bulb.

Introduces Ground Breaking 10-Watt and 5-Watt LED Panels Incorporating Direct Die Attachment Technology

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

American Bright Optoelectronics Corporation Introduces Ground Breaking 10-Watt and 5-Watt LED Panels Incorporating Direct Die Attachment Technology.

American Bright’s new panels can be customized to meet application-specific requirements of various sizes and power ratings, further expanding design freedom for designers of SSL luminaries.

Chino, Ca. June 13, 2008 – American Bright Optoelectronics Corp. announced today the introduction of a family of light engine panels featuring its new direct die attachment (DDA) technology and integrated thermal management architecture that increases service life, luminous output and overall luminary efficiency. The new family of products is available with a power rating of 10 watts or 5 watts (with a typical flux ratings of 800 lumens and 300 lumens, respectively) and can be selected in a broad range of industry standard color temperatures ranging form neutral white (4500K) to cool white (7000K). The light engines are ideally suited for luminaries designed to meet the growing demand for energy efficient, long life general illumination products that exceed the light quality and consistency of competing high power LED technologies such as standard encapsulated LEDs.

Introduces Compact 10-Watt and 20-Watt LED Light Engines Incorporating Direct Die Attachment Technology

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

American Bright Optoelectronics Corporation Introduces Compact 10-Watt and 20-Watt LED Light Engines Incorporating Direct Die Attachment Technology.

American Bright’s new compact SSL modules offer higher power ratings and luminous flux in the smallest footprint possible, further expanding design freedom for designers of SSL luminaries.

Chino, Ca. September 8, 2008 – American Bright Optoelectronics Corp. announced today the introduction of two new compact light engine modules featuring its new direct die attachment (DDA) technology and integrated thermal management architecture that increases service life, luminous output and overall luminary efficiency. The two new light engines are available with a power rating of 10 watts or 20 watts. The 10-watt light engine has a nominal diameter under 1.0 inch [24.6mm] and the 20-watt light engine measures only 1.3 inches [33mm] across its widest section. Both light engines are ideally suited for luminaries designed to meet the growing demand for energy efficient, long life general illumination products that exceed the light quality and consistency of competing high power LED technologies such as standard hard and soft encapsulated LEDs.

Brings New Level of Choice to Engineering Services and Assembly Group

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

American Bright Optoelectronics Corporation Brings New Level of Choice to Engineering Services and Assembly Group

American Bright opens the doors to other manufacturer’s optoelectronic devices for design and assembly services.

Chino, Ca. November 22, 2007 – American Bright Optoelectronics Corporation announced today that their industry leading, independent Engineering Services Group (ESG) has begun to actively include LEDs from other leading manufactures of optoelectronic devices to meet the growing demand for specialty designs. This strategic decision was made after carefully evaluating existing industry trends and technologies, and coming to the conclusion that there were many application-specific advantages that could be gained by incorporating a wider scope of existing and emergent products. The leadership team of the Engineering Services Group, after careful research, determined that there were several well-known LED manufacturers that had developed products possessing distinct advantages in lighting-related applications. Furthermore, these LED manufacturers had done a great job of creating name recognition and knowledge of their products within the lighting industry The team concluded that, by incorporating the clients’ preferred LEDs, a broader, more valuable range of services could be bundled together, providing a choice that is truly unique in the industry today.
