American Bright Introduces BAS-B Series Based Lamps Offering Low Power Consumption and Easy Replacement of Incandescent Lamps

 

BREA, Calif. - Sept. 7, 2001 - American Bright introduces the BAS-B Series Based Lamps offering a new solution for incandescent lamp replacement. The new BAS-B Series features low power consumption and easily interchangeability with incandescent bulbs while providing the same intensity of light. Offering longer life and reliability, the new lamps are ideally suited for automotive, traffic, and hand-held device applications that formerly utilized incandescent lighting.

Using conventional insertion, the new lamps are available in 10mm bayonet and screw based styles with a 20 degree viewing angle. A 17mm package is also available with a viewing angle of 25 degrees. Both styles feature a large range of popular colors with full brightness intensity including Super Red, Blue, Green and Ultra Yellow, with peak wave lengths ranging from 470-660nm. The lamps are also available in white. Designed with a spring retention mechanical lock for excellent contact, the lamps are water clear in appearance when off.
