American Bright Introduces Ultra-Flux LED Modules Allowing Designers to Create Unique Grids with Reduced LED Counts

BREA, Calif. -Nov. 9, 2001 - American Bright introduces the Ultra-Flux Grid(tm) LED Modules. Modular in design, the new modular grid capability allows greater light distribution and concentrated color intensity. Designers can create virtually any size solid LED grid while reducing the number of LEDs typically required, offering savings in both LED product energy consumption and assembly costs.

The new LED Modules measure only 67.62mm square, and plug into any standard 0.200" pin space with zero clearance between each device, offering maximum density and space savings. Available in all industry-standard colors, the new LED Modules are ideally suited for signs, automotive tail or stop lights, truck side lights, stadium scoreboards, moving messages, and other large, outdoor applications where high brightness is required.

The Ultra-Flux Grid LED Modules feature peak wavelengths of 470-660nm. Modules are made up of high intensity Super Red and Green, as well as Ultra Yellow, Ultra Orange Blue (AllnGaP or InGaN) LEDs that appear water-clear when off. Using the new LED Modules, designers can mix colors or make grids all one color for optimum design flexibility. As grid size expands, intensities are multiplied, creating high intensity light concentration, especially effective for ambient light conditions.
